HK Recycles provides subscription-based, door-to-door waste collection from households and businesses. Additionally, they offer employment opportunities for marginalized communities and increase the sustainability of our urban environment.
Since 2015, SOW Asia has been a primary partner of HK Recycles. This partnership includes taking a majority stake in the company to position them for scale. SOW Asia has helped HK Recycles to secure necessary follow-on funding from a Hong Kong impact investor.
Happy Retired is an online-to-offline community that enrich people’s retirement life. It majorly provides three services to retirees and to-be-retirees such as hosting activities, cultivating their healthy habits and providing them volunteer and job opportunities. An online shop is also available on its webpage for the retirees to purchase healthcare and wellbeing products.
Happy Retired completed SOW Asia's accelerator program in the Fall of 2017 and has become a portfolio company of SOW Asia in 2018. It is SOW Asia's aim to cultivate a healthy and meaningful retirement life for the elderly in Hong Kong through this partnership.
